A Retirement Retreat

Marc and Monique wanted something, unlike anything they had seen on the market before. They wanted their home to perfectly elevate the surrounding land and features of the property they owned. Together, they worked with our team to make the outdoors the focal point of their dream home.

As Monique says “We always wanted to retire where there was a view, so when we had the opportunity, we built. This house is built so we have a view from pretty much every room.”

“We were able to modify the actual plan to do what we wanted. They took our ideas and created this custom home. Now, I’m outside every day.”

The vast majority of our clients find our full custom capabilities very appealing. All of the designs can be modified, so often, clients will find a home that they like in our design gallery and work with that floor plan to make it uniquely theirs.

Monique had a very clear idea of what she wanted to see in her home. She mentions a particularly special project she worked on with her husband.

“I saw a boat bar on Pinterest and I said ‘Why don’t you do that downstairs?’ to my husband and he liked the idea. He went to Toronto and bought an old boat, cut it in half, and ended up installing it in the bar.”

“I like everything about the house. It’s so bright and open and Chris made it easy. If there was a problem he would tell us, it was a very positive experience with Linwood. I would do it again.”
